I'm Ha.
I'm a Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in Washington and Hawai'i. I've also worn the owner's hat — so I know firsthand the dedication it takes to build a practice, and how hard it is to hire, train and retain a team that runs it well.
My passion for dentistry doesn't stop at oral health. I like to creatively problem solve, and aging A/R is a big problem often pushed to the back burner. I've watched balances age from the inside — the patient who left without being asked, the claim nobody chased on day 31, the aging report that got printed and filed, and ultimately written off.
Aside from seeing patients for their recare appointments, I design smooth, low-stress systems that make life easier for the team — a ranked worklist the front desk can actually work, the words to say on the call, and a written process that outlives whoever is at the desk this year. When the practice runs smoothly, everyone wins. As someone who gets to leave work at work, I want to promote the same for the entire team.
I earned my degree from University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa and stay up-to-date on the latest preventative care techniques as well as chase the ever changing insurance policies.
When I'm not at work, I like to eat with my loved ones — I like to cook, bake, dine out and order in (and not in that order).

One file: your accounts receivable aging report, exported from your practice management software. Nothing else. No clinical records, no imaging, no chart notes, and no login to your system.
I treat it as protected health information
People often assume that removing patient names makes a report safe to send. It doesn't. Under HIPAA's de-identification standard, account numbers and insurance ID numbers are identifiers in their own right, so an aging report keyed to account IDs is still PHI. I don't ask you to de-identify anything, and I don't pretend the file is something it isn't. I handle it as PHI from the moment it arrives.
We sign an agreement before you send me anything
Because I handle PHI on your behalf, HIPAA makes me your business associate, and that relationship requires a written business associate agreement. I send mine before the first file moves — not after we've started working.
Where it lives while I'm working
Your data is handled under a signed Business Associate Agreement, processed on our own machines, and never uploaded to a third-party analytics service. Our email and file storage run on Google Workspace under an executed BAA. Worklists are keyed to account numbers — patient names never have to leave your practice.
Who else sees it
Nobody. I have no employees and no subcontractors. If that ever changes, I'll tell you before it does, and anyone who touches your data will be under the same agreement I am.
How long I keep it
I keep the files I create for the length of the engagement plus thirty days. At the end, I return or destroy every copy and confirm in writing that I've done it.
If something goes wrong
If your data is ever exposed, you hear it from me, in writing, promptly, and no later than the deadline HIPAA and our agreement set. You would not learn it from somebody else.

We calculate fees based on scope, complexity, and projected resources, then present a transparent proposal.
Number of locations, providers, and amount in A/R can all affect the proposal.
-
Engagements range from two weeks for focused audits to several months for comprehensive transformation to a healthy A/R ratio. The level of engagement is completely in your control.
-
Yes, I would remain actively involved until solutions are fully operational and staff are confident.

My level of involvement allows a non-stranger to be on the phone with your patient and their family. It allows you to keep your team and its dynamic. Team relationships are supported by a routine.
